Reading Initiative Highlights & Gratitude

Bhutanese Stories Beyond Books
Several Bhutanese children’s stories have also been adapted into animated videos by Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS) and shared on YouTube, helping make Bhutanese storytelling more accessible and engaging for young audiences.
Originally rooted in Bhutanese culture and everyday life, many of the themes explored in the stories — kindness, friendship, gratitude, honesty, emotional understanding, perseverance, and family — are universal and relatable to children everywhere.
Schools, Reading Activities & Educational Support
